Guide to Episode 123: Addressing Race and Bias in the Workplace w/ Aaron Samuels

The process of building a diverse, equitable and inclusive team is ongoing. It’s a learning and doing journey. It starts by acknowledging the current reality, setting a vision and values, and embracing the uncomfortable.

This guide is an overview of what I’ve learned about how to talk with teams about diversity, equity and inclusion. I acknowledge that it is from the perspective of a white manager as that is the learning journey I’ve been on. (If you are seeking resources as a person of color to help you facilitate a conversation with your white colleagues, I apologize that this guide is not that.)
